Update all. I am having an App constructed for the Copkido program. It will offer training videos simple enough to learn on your own (with a partner of course), in your free time.
We have about 65 videos compiled so far with 48 of them created just three weeks ago and another 30 plus scheduled for filming next Sunday the 18th
The App will be available to all, and will focus on common occupations that deal with aggressive persons.
The occupations to date will be of course, law enforcement, teachers, healthcare (nurses / triage), security, flight attendants and a separate menu for domestic violence victims.
I am trying to determine a justified monthly fee (less than a cup of coffee) to subscribe to this course
Of course you could always join a gym and pay 10-20.00 a class, or 100-150.00 a month instead, but as we get older, at least I do not have time to do so.
Attached is a short video my son assisted me with as a trailer you might say
A few videos (25 or 32?) are on YouTube now.
There are short videos there and longer training ones for you to view free
If this might interest you or you have any questions, please let me know. Any ideas for scenarios or predicaments you or your loved ones might encounter at work, please advise and I'll create my suggestion for a non violent resolution to those encounters
The system was developed initially in a hospital environment, then gradually went to become further developed in the street to assist working first responders
It was developed for the average human, not athlete. It is based on the skeletal mechanics and physiology of the human body.
It was created to help you help others while remaining free of claims of excessive force and brutality
"An ounce of prevention is worth a pond of cure." - Benjamin Franklin
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger more complex and more violent. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."
-Albert Einstein
as I always say, caring is sharing. If you feel like sharing, and you care about others, please do so.
Stay safe and healthy,
Shawn Marando
