📣 Jefferson Academy Charter Schools Board Opportunity

Are you passionate about supporting the JA community and helping shape the future of our schools? We are currently accepting letters of interest and resumes from parents and caregivers interested in serving on the Jefferson Academy Charter Schools Board of Directors.

Due to term limitations, an additional board seat will become available for a one-year appointment beginning in June 2026.

✨ No special skills are required — just a willingness to serve, collaborate, and support the continued success of our JA community alongside fellow board members, administration, and school leadership.

📅 Letters of interest and resumes are due by Monday, June 1, 2026.

Candidates are encouraged to attend the June 9 Board Meeting at 6:00 PM at Summit Academy (7575 W. 103rd Ave., Westminster, CO), with a Zoom option available if needed.

We’re excited to share the results of our recent Board of Directors election!

Our new Board members will officially be sworn in during the June Board Meeting as they begin their terms.

Parents/guardians of Jefferson Academy Charter Schools students, including Summit Academy, each get one vote per open Board position. If you’ve already voted but your spouse or co-parent hasn’t, remember that BOTH are eligible to vote separately—so please remind them to cast their votes too!

- Parents/guardians of current JACS students (including Summit Academy campuses): one vote per open seat per parent/guardian
- Eligible employees (2+ years with JACS): one vote per open seat
Note: Part-time substitutes and stipend-only staff are not eligible
