Today, our team had the joy of awarding a $10,500 grant to LPS Transition Services, supporting programs that help students build confidence, independence, wellness, and community connections.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of an LPS family who chose to “adopt” this program, students will now benefit from:
🏀 Adaptive basketball uniforms
🏊 Access to South Suburban Park and Recreation District recreation facilities and activities
🎶 Music therapy
🎳 Team bowling experiences

Goddard students are literally having a ball! ⚽

Thanks to a Stride health and wellness grant, students are zooming around, chasing a gigantic ball in a game of scooter soccer. It's equal parts laughter, teamwork, and movement.

Grants from The Stride also helped Kate restock her gym with extra pickleball paddles and soccer balls, so more students can jump into the game.

Last November, LPS high school students stepped into the spotlight for the 15th Annual Poetry Slam at Options, sharing original spoken-word pieces straight from the heart, in front of a room that showed up to truly listen.

We are proud to help fund this tradition as part of our Legacy Fund for Mental Health - because every Littleton Public Schools student deserves a space to be seen and heard. 🫶

We're already looking ahead: Slam 16 is coming on Wednesday, November 11. Award-winning poet Jovan Mays will again serve as a mentor and coach.

On Wednesdays, we wear our builders’ hats. 🔧👷‍♀️

Thanks to an LPS Foundation grant, students in Jami Nelson's Wednesday elective at Options Secondary are digging into STEM craft kits and hands-on projects that make the middle of the week something to look forward to.

Just ask the students:

💬 "Can you get more projects for us?"
💬 "I LOVE this class."
