Today's Discovery farm tour and county agent training event drew a fantastic crowd, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the speakers, guests, and the Roe family for their exceptional hosting. This program featured a range of topics and techniques including demonstrations focusinging on back to basic forestry techniques, an overview of the Roe Farm's history and operations, a presentation on pond and water quality management, an exploration of drone applications in forestry, an introduction to Arkansas's first longleaf pine demonstration, and a discussion on the benefits of utilizing fire as a management tool.
Please keep a lookout and be sure to join us on our next outing!
