Second Grade Lesson Study Project -Teachers and students learning together! Students count large numbers in the thousands and measurement. Students utilized non-standard units including Unifix and Centimeter Cubes. Teachers observed and took notes on students' learning for a debriefing meeting.

Santa's Sleigh Design Contest - students were judged on Fluency of ideas, Elaboration of ideas, Originality, and Risk Taking Santa collected many great ideas for his new Sleigh! He might be tired of going down chimneys and welcome the idea of presents launched from his sleigh or even a naught or nice sensor as he flies over our homes!
