Earlier this summer, we had the privilege of gathering some of WVCA/LRCA’s greatest legends for a special roundtable conversation as we prepare for LRCA’s 50th anniversary. Together, they shared memories, stories, and reflections from the school’s earliest days, helping preserve an important part of our school’s history for future generations.
A special thank you to Debbie Norman, Cindy Lynn, Ruth Ann Yancey, Holly Hart Smith, Linda Neaves, Bob Arrington, and Roger Yancey for your time and your enduring love for LRCA.
We can’t wait to share more from this special conversation in the months ahead.

Yesterday the high school hosted a retirement celebration for two LRCA legends - Señora Araceli Johnston and Madame Heather Tarpley! It was a sweet time of sharing memories, heartfelt tributes, and gratitude for the profound legacy these women have left at LRCA. We wish them lots of well-deserved rest and relaxation in the years ahead!
