The Pre Law Society is hosting a mock LSAT exam. The LSAT is a crucial part of the law school application process, and there’s no better way to practice than taking the test under real testing conditions!

Please follow the link below in order to reserve a spot. It will be on campus (specific location details TBA) on Friday, April 12th starting at 2pm. It consists of four 30 minute multiple choice sections, and then a 30 minute writing sample.

On Monday, March 4th at 3pm, we will have guest speaker Samantha Wilson! Ms. Wilson graduated from UALR with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2014. She received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School and now is a litigation attorney with Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull PLLC. She will be sharing what her path to the legal world was like.

March 4th, 3pm - DSC Leadership Lounge.

To kick off the new semester, juvenile Judge Branton will be our guest speaker for our first meeting! This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about juvenile justice, the legal field, being a judge, etc. It will be on Thursday, February 7th at 12:00pm in DSC 205D (by the cafeteria). Don't miss out!

You don't want to miss out on this opportunity! The Pre-Law Society of UA Little Rock is hosting a law school forum on October 26th. Bowen School of Law, Arkansas School of Law, Memphis School of Law, Mizzou Law School, Tulsa College of Law, Dedman School of Law, Baylor Law School, Oklahoma College of Law, Southern University Law Center, and more will be there!

You will have a chance not only to get in-depth information about these schools, but also make personal connections with the representatives and learn about their application process. Stop by any time from 9-12pm on October 26th, in Ross Hall 209! Light refreshments will be provided.

Don’t forget - our first meeting is tomorrow (September 19th) at 12pm! We will be in the DSC, room 205D.

We will have a panel of law school students there, and also have a raffle for free LSAT prep books! Don’t miss out.

Save the date! Our first meeting of the school year will be on Wednesday, September 19th from 12pm-1pm. We will be in room 205D located in the Donaghey Student Center.

Several current Bowen Law School students will be there to share their experiences and answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to find out what law school really entails, and learn more about the day-to-day life of a law school student.

You will also be able to pay membership dues. It is $5 per semester or $10 for the whole year. You don't have to be a member to attend meetings, but those who have been members for at least one year will receive graduation cords.
