🔥 Juneteenth in Da Rock kicks off BIG! 🔥

The Opening Ceremony starts at 10:45 AM and heads down historic West 9th Street — a place that once served as the heartbeat of parades in the Black community. This year, we return to that tradition, honoring the legacy and the people who built it.

You do not want to miss who will be there this year. 👀✨

Be there. Bring the energy. Celebrate the legacy.

Juneteenth — short for June nineteenth — commemorates June 19, 1865, when federal soldiers arrived in Galveston to take control of Texas and ensure enslaved people were freed per the Emancipation Proclamation. The holiday celebrates the end of slavery in the United States and became a federal holiday.

Friendly reminder: All CALS locations are closed today, but will reopen during normal business hours on Saturday, June 20.
