2026-2027 Academic Calendar

Dear Huda Parents:

Assalaamu Allaikum Wa rehmatullah,

We are pleased to announce a new student uniform policy, taking effect at the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.

Following a thorough review by the School Board and in consultation with CISNA (The Council of Islamic Schools of North America), a standardized dress code has been adopted to foster a focused learning environment while reflecting our shared Islamic values of modesty, professionalism, and unity.

📅 Effective Date: August 11, 2026

🛍️ How to Purchase: Uniforms will be available for purchase online at affordable prices through an approved vendor.

👕 Uniform Sizing Samples: To assist families with sizing, sample uniforms in a variety of sizes will be available during Uniform Fitting Day. Parents will have the opportunity to view the uniforms and try sizing on their children before placing orders.

📋 Full Policy: A complete copy of the uniform policy, along with ordering information and the vendor link, will be shared by the Principal in the coming days.

⏳ Grace Period: We understand that transitions take time. Students will be permitted to wear their current uniforms throughout the 2026–2027 school year while families gradually make the change to the new uniform standards.

The board and administration recognize the value of our respected scholars and knowledgeable community members. We also recognize the need to ground our decision making for the school within the principles of our Deen.

With these thoughts in mind, we have formalized The Huda Academy Spiritual Advisory Committee. This well qualified group will be tapped on to help provide guidance for decisions that impact our children and the school that may require a more nuanced or scholarly perspective. We are grateful to our religious leaders for being willing to support us going forward.

May Allah guide us to the decisions that leaves Him pleased with us.
