Enjoy a night of fine dining with a jazz background. I will be part of a Jazz Trio, that evening…(guitar bass, drums). . We will be performing a mix of traditional and contemporary jazz standards in a lively trio format.
Saturday, May 2 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM World Labyrinth Day at Providence Park (6900 Green Road, Mabelvale, AR) World
Labyrinth Day is an annual international event dedicated to world peace. I will be performing during the “Walk as One at 1” event, where thousands across the globe walk labyrinths simultaneously to create a wave of peaceful energy.
Sunday, May 3 | 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Member Day – Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (501 East 9th Street, Little Rock, AR) I have curated a special 5-hour program for the AMFA Cultural Living Room:
A general outline of music for the afternoon...
12:00 – 2:00 PM: Focus on the Hispanic tradition (Julio Sagreras and Francisco Tárrega) and the works of J.S. Bach.
2:00 – 3:00 PM: A more personal set including original works like "Ode to Home Life" and "A Mother’s Love," plus my unique perspectives on the music of The Beatles.
3:00 – 5:00 PM: I will be joined by jazz bassist Joe Vick. We’ll perform a selection of my original jazz pieces (When I Was 8, La Bella Via) along with a deep dive into the repertoire of Pat Metheny and classic jazz standards.
