Congratulations to our May CNA graduates! If you are interested in getting your CNA certification, our next class starts June 1. This will be a two week daytime class. We are conveniently located at Gateway Office Park in Little Rock. We are affordable and offer a payment plan and welcome any sponsorships. June also kicks off our discount for nursing students. If you are enrolled in college with nursing as your major, enjoy a $100 discount on your CNA class tuition. All you have to do is bring proof of your major on your college transcript. Congratulations to our April CNA class! They just completed their three week evening class and will be ready to test this week for their certification. If you are interested in taking an evening CNA course with hours from 4 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday, the next start date is May 4th. We are centrally located in Little Rock at Gateway Office Park. Our course is reasonably priced and we offer a payment plan with $450 down. This pays for your course and your textbooks for this class. We are accredited through the Office of Long Term Care and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. We are also a provider with Workforce, Pulaski Tech, Little Rock Adult Education, and any nursing home or facility who wants to sponsor. If interested, check out our website at www.palcna.com.

Congratulations to our student who completed the Certified EKG Technician course. This is a four week online course. The student also spends one day in the classroom with the nurse, and one day at the hospital for clinical.  During the course, the student also works on their National Healthcareer Association study guides and practice tests. As soon as the course is completed, the student is eligible to test for their certification through NHA. This program is accredited with the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Congratulations to our student who recently completed the Personal Care Aide course. This is a two week online program. After completion of the online portion, the student comes into the classroom to work with the nurse on skills and then takes the certification exam. The course is $360. The price includes the course, book, and certification exam. Students who complete this course are certified to work as a home care aid, or in assisted living facilities. If you have a family member who you need to care for, many times students can complete this course and be qualified for a stipend from Medicaid/Medicare to care for family. If you are in need of a skills review course, we will be offering one on April 17th and 18th from 9 AM until 2 PM each day. The skills course will review the 23 core skills with a licensed nurse. The course will include a skills booklet and will be taught using several teaching methods, including lecture, video, and hands-on skills practice. Because this program is both short in duration and low in cost, we do not offer payment plans. PAL CNA graduates may enroll in the skills review program for $150. Congratulations to our recent Phlebotomy and EKG technician students. They have just completed their online courses that included the National Health Career Association prep course. They are ready to take their certification exam and start working. This course includes skills lab with the instructors and clinical at a local hospital.
