Stay Cool Tomorrow! ππ₯
With temperatures expected to hit 112 degrees tomorrow, staying hydrated is more important than ever for our loved ones!
While water is always the best choice, hydrating snacks can make beating the heat a lot more fun for kids. We love this awesome (and super easy!) trick for making "watermelon popsicles" β no popsicle molds required.
Check out the quick video trick here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Jk8aSHO61G8
How to make them:
Cut a whole watermelon in half.
Place the flat side down on a cutting board.
Cut 1-inch slices straight across.
Turn the melon and cut 1-inch slices the opposite way to create a grid.
Pull out a perfect watermelon stick!
Pro-tip: Pop them in the freezer for an extra-cool, refreshing treat!
Stay safe, stay in the AC when you can, and keep sipping that water! π§βοΈ

The week isn't over yet, but just look at all the fun we are having! β½οΈπ½
Weβve been burning off some serious energy out on the soccer field and getting hands-on indoors by shucking farm-grown corn.
π½ A Little Corn History: Did you know corn (also known as maize) was first domesticated by indigenous peoples in southern Mexico about 10,000 years ago? It started out as a wild grass called teosinte and was carefully cultivated over generations into the delicious, yellow, farm-grown food we love eating today!
We are having a blast learning, playing, and working together! Happy Wednesday! βοΈπ
