Our 2026-2027 Meet the Teacher Night is complete! We had a great turnout and loved getting to see our returning scholars and meet new scholars. In addition, we held our inaugural Dual Language Parent Meeting as we kicked off our 2026-2027 school-wide theme: Two Languages, One Team! Thanks to our partners, parents, volunteers, and more! It’s going to be a great year!

💊 Elementary Medication Drop-Off!

To help make the first day of school smoother, families who need to bring medication to school are encouraged to drop it off before school starts.

📅 Thursday, August 6 (Meet the Teacher Night)
🕓 4:00–6:00 PM
OR
📅 Monday, August 10
🕙 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Please remember:
✅ A parent or guardian must be present to sign the required medication forms.
✅ Bring medications in their original pharmacy-labeled container.
✅ Bring current doctor's orders/authorization forms and any Action Plans (Asthma, Allergy, Seizure, Diabetes, etc.), if applicable.

We are so proud to announce Jessica E. Sanders, NBCT and Cohort 11 Fellow, has been named the Dean of Students for Chicot Elementary School in the Little Rock School District. We know you'll do great!!

The First Day of School is less than a week away! Come join us this Thursday, August 6, from 4-6 pm for Meet the Teacher. In addition to meeting your child's teacher, we will have community resources, free haircuts, school information, t-shirt sales, vaccination appointments available, and more. We can't wait to see you!
