When learning can take place at any time. Bailey is now 4 and knows all the alphabets sounds and can recognize them. When you know all your letters and sounds that will help you spell words and read fluently. Way to go Bailey she has worked hard..

This is why it is so critical to teach children to learn to read and write at an early age. !!!!

A video from a high school teacher is reigniting a conversation that educators have been having quietly, and now increasingly publicly, for years: the state of literacy among American students approaching graduation.

The teacher describes an assignment given to his senior English class: read two short paragraphs, then complete a single sentence using a stem he had already modeled step by step.

His students were unable to complete it.
