Learning to Trust...

Some lessons have to be experienced!

Learning to trust means having confidence that someone will be there when you need them. Today, our students had an opportunity to experience that lesson in a very real way… by trusting a classmate to catch them!

Activities like this help our students build trust, communication, teamwork, and confidence while strengthening the relationships they share with one another.

At Shiloh Excel Christian School, we’re not only helping students grow academically… we’re creating opportunities for them to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually too.

Some of the best learning happens when students are exploring, creating, asking questions, solving problems, and working together.

At Shiloh Excel Christian School, we want our students to experience learning…not simply complete assignments. Every activity is another opportunity to discover something new, build confidence, and develop a love for learning.

Sometimes the best question after school isn’t “How was your day?” It’s a question that helps your child think a little deeper.

This week, try asking:

“What was hard today…and what did you do when it got hard?”

Then give them time to answer.

These simple conversations can help children recognize that struggling with something doesn't mean they can't do it. Sometimes, the struggle is part of the learning.

At Shiloh Excel Christian School, we believe learning extends beyond knowing the right answer. It also means developing the confidence, perseverance, and problem-solving skills to keep going when the answer doesn't come easily.

Four Weeks In…and Growing Strong!

We have officially completed our first four weeks of school at Shiloh Excel Christian School!

In just one month, our students have been learning, creating, building, asking questions, making new friends, and growing in confidence. Every lesson, every discovery, and every smile reminds us that meaningful learning happens when children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to participate.

We are grateful for our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and wonderful students who have helped make these first four weeks so special.

We are off to a great start…and there is so much more ahead!
