Students will receive hands-on social work practice experience in the field through a required generalist social work internship. This internship provides 240 hours per semester of social work field experience to the student in exchange for the opportunity to observe, learn, and participate in designated areas of the agency over the course of the senior year. An agency field instructor will be the student’s main source of leadership and will act as a role model for the
student to practice professional competencies.
