The Baptist Preparatory School
http://www.BaptistPrep.org In May of 1980, Little Rock’s First Baptist Church voted to establish a Christian school.
This decision came out of a realization that education is not merely the mental, social, and physical training of a child, but should also include a spiritual foundation. For 35 years, our vision to provide a quality education focused on academic and Christian excellence for our students has not changed. This vital ministry built on faith, knowledge, wisdom and understanding is now comprised of students from numerous Christian denominations.

Baptist Prep is pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Alex Upshaw to the BP teaching and coaching staff. Coach Upshaw was named a 2025-2026 Building-Level Teacher of the Year in the NLRSD. She brings five years of club volleyball coaching experience after playing volleyball at the collegiate level.
