Our baking students had the opportunity to visit several bakeries around town this week and get a behind-the-scenes look at commercial baking production. Thank you to the chefs and owners who welcomed us and shared their time, knowledge, and space with our students!

Culinary professionals face high rates of back pain, joint strain, and burnout from the demands of the industry we love. Practicing yoga can improve mobility, reduce pain, and relax the mind (especially the one still hearing the ticket printer, or explaining multiple times that item has been 86’d…). πŸ˜…
Yoga can help us chefs better handle those long days on our feet we all know so well.

CAHMI students, if you’re free May 1 from 1–4pm, consider heading over to the CHARTS building for an afternoon of mind and body health!

UA-PTC's chapter of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is hosting an afternoon of yoga outside the CHARTS building on our Main Campus on May 1. Grab a mat, grab a friend, and come relax with us.

When: Friday, May 1 from 1-4pm
Where: Outside of CHARTS

We'll see you there!
