The course will be based on NVC and Crucial Conversations - mainly NVC. It will be an introductory level, but we do hope to get into some hard conversations and use NVC skills.

The NVC Academy offers so much. I have taken several live courses and I use their archived videos. Members get great discounts. Check it out.

We've got some exciting courses, videos and social media snippets coming up at the NVC academy, on different topics, and for all levels of NVC learners and practitioners - and we would love to reach more people around the world.

If you've found our social feed helpful, would you be willing to help us with this?

Share this post with your timeline to let people know that we're posting NVC resources and learning snippets here; and optionally, with a few words about why you would recommend they follow us.

Thank you for being here with us, and for spreading the word!

Is it possible to approach a conflict or negotiation and emerge with a solution that works for everyone?

It’s often our attachment to our preferred strategies, or our lack of clarity that can keep us getting from win-lose to win-win.

The NVC framework shows us that when we connect at the level of needs, the possibilities open up; and we can arrive at creative strategies that consider the needs of everyone involved. We also recognize that none of us can truly win when one of us loses.

Shoutout to Bruce Dickson of The Healing Toolbox for creating this image, and sharing it with us!

Last night I was rereading this jewel by Robert Gonzales. If you want to experience the spirituality of Non-Violent Communication, I recommend this book. Robert says, "Enter the Beauty of Needs and you enter Life. A basic life current is resonating in and through us as a yearning of the heart. This current manifests as human needs. Feeling and living this energy of my needs is what I want. It is what we all want. The spiritual practice is to intentionally bring this radiant energy into all relationships."
