On Oct. 19 at 5:30 p.m., Bowen will welcome Professor César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández, the Gregory Williams Chair in Civil Rights and Civil Liberties at Ohio State University, for a discussion on crimmigration, the intersection of criminal law and immigration law. Prof. Henning is The Blume Professor of Law and Director of the Juvenile Justice Clinic and Initiative at Georgetown Law. She will discuss her book, The Rage of Innocence, and her 25 years of experience representing Black youth in Washington D.C.’s juvenile courts. Prof. Henning will speak at 5:30 in the Friday Courtroom at Bowen. Books will be available for purchase, and a book signing will be held after the event.
