Several from our chapter had the opportunity Friday, April 16, to go to the Clinton School and hear longtime editor Gene Foreman talk about his book, "The Ethical Journalist: Making Responsible Decisions in the Pursuit of News." It was a nice get-together. It also was nice to be reminded of a couple of very important ideas: verification and impartiality.
From Sonny Rhodes, our SPJ sponsor: Andrew DeMillo, the Arkansas Capitol reporter for the Associated Press, will be the guest speaker next Friday at the biweekly meeting of the UALR chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
