Each week during the school year, we participate in AVID Wednesday. Staff and students wear their favorite college or career shirt to show where their goals can take them. 🎓👕💼

For the first week of school, Superintendent Jeff Senn and other PCSSD Central Office administrators are visiting schools in every corner of PCSSD.
They checked in on the Mills feeder system Tuesday, and it's soaring off to a great start! ☄️
👏 Out of 3 school districts and over 100 ambassadors, Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School's Celeste Wilson was selected as the 2025-2026 Academy Ambassador of the Year.
Our high school academy students are returning to building their futures and expanding their horizons in the 2026-2027 school year.

When the heat index reaches 95° or higher, recess moves indoors. Staff encourage frequent water breaks and watch closely for signs of heat exhaustion. At dismissal, scholars may grab a chilled water bottle stationed near exits. 🧊🚌
