"Allied Health" refers to the diverse group of healthcare professional who are essential for the delivery of healthcare services. The term "allied" refers to the support/technical staff in the medical field, such as EKG technicians or phlebotomy techs/assistants. Recognizing the demand for highly qualified healthcare professionals, Dr. Rutledge and Dr. Ridley founded Arkansas College of Health Careers. We are the only school of our kind in which courses are taught by current practicing physicians and scientists in a small personalized setting. Rutledge and Williams have alliances and relationships with numerous providers throughout the state that will serve as clinic preceptor sites to augment the training of students. Additionally, our convenient daytime or evening classes allow for unique schedules.
