Welcome to Watson: Nicole Williamson, Special Education Teacher

Please help us welcome Nicole Williamson to the Watson family as our new Special Education Teacher! Now entering her sixth year of teaching, Mrs. Williamson is committed to meeting the unique needs of every learner by creating a supportive, engaging classroom where all students can thrive. She is excited to partner with our students and families and looks forward to making a positive impact throughout the school year.

Last week, Watson Elementary had the joy of welcoming our newest Eagles and their families for Kindergarten Signing Day! 💙💛

What an incredible day filled with smiles, excitement, and the beginning of lifelong learning. It was a pleasure meeting our incoming kindergarten scholars, celebrating this important milestone, and partnering with families as they begin their Watson journey.

We are already inspired by this promising group of students and can’t wait to officially welcome them on their first day of school next week. The future is bright, and we know these young Eagles are ready to soar!

Welcome to Watson: Yareli Estrada, Dual Language Kindergarten Teacher

¡Bienvenida a Watson! We are thrilled to welcome Yareli Estrada as our Dual Language Kindergarten Teacher. Ms. Estrada began her educational journey three years ago after focusing her university studies on bilingual education. Since then, she has dedicated her career to serving Little Rock's Spanish-speaking families through high-quality instruction and meaningful partnerships. Certified in English Language Arts (Grades 4–8), the Science of Reading, and Spanish (K–12), she is excited to help our youngest Eagles become confident bilingual learners while fostering a strong connection between school and home

Welcome to Watson: Stephen Colby, Music Teacher

Please join us in welcoming Stephen Colby to the Watson Elementary family! Entering his 15th year in education, Mr. Colby brings a wealth of experience teaching elementary music, middle and high school band and orchestra, coaching multiple sports, serving as a dorm parent, and managing an on-campus recording studio. A devoted father and avid hiker from New Hampshire's Lakes Region, he is passionate about inspiring students through music and is excited to begin this new journey with our Eagles
