This morning was Family Day at School of Man. It was awesome to see so many families putting in the hard work at 4:45 am. 💪🔥

The message was simple: say what's on your heart while you have the time.

Tell them how proud you are of them.
Have the uncomfortable conversations.
Say "I love you."

Use the voice God gave you and the breathe He filled your lungs with.

Never Forget.

We have men in this organization who have lost their brothers in arms, father in law, and those they loved the most.

We must also remember those who lost the battle at home and the families who have been rocked to the core by their loss.

Say a prayer, show a sign of gratitude, spend some time in silence today paying respect to those who have passed over the great divide.

Helping and fixing are not the same thing.

Sometimes people just need your presence.
Not your words.
Not your solutions.
Just an open ear and a closed mouth.

Wisdom is knowing when to step into a situation and when to just stay put as an anchor for someone else in the storm.
