Democracy Depends on Me Arkansas Boys State is an immersive program in civics education designed for high school juniors. Bill Clinton, former Arkansas Gov.

Since 1940, the week-long summer program has transformed the next generation of leaders throughout the state and beyond. These men have become state, national, and international leaders, including Pres. Mike Huckabee, former White House Chiefs of Staff Mack McLarty and Jack Watson Jr., Sen. Tom Cotton, Sen. This weekend, the 106th Annual American Legion Department of Arkansas Convention is underway in North Little Rock (June 19-21), and Arkansas Boys State was proud to be part of it! Our newly elected Governor, Roderick Anokye, and Boys Nation Senator Kemdi Ekeanyanwu were both present and had the opportunity to speak, representing ARBS with pride.
Members of our staff team joined them to celebrate this milestone. Congratulations, Roderick and Kemdi, we're cheering you on! 🇺🇸
