For patients who are dealing with serious illnesses, it’s important to know there is specialized medical care focused on relief from symptoms, pain and stress. A support group to help children ages 6-12 better cope with a parent’s cancer diagnosis will begin Feb. 8 at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
CLIMB, which stands for Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery, will be offered from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays from Feb. 8-March 15 in the Patient Pavilion at the Cancer Institute.
There is no cost to participate. You do not have to be a UAMS patient to participate. Preregistration is required.
