The Allen School serves children, from birth to 5, diagnosed with conditions including mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and other developmental delays. The school staff is dedicated to providing the perfect balance of education and inspiration. A combination of early childhood teachers, special education teachers, and paraprofessionals work together with physical, speech, and occupational therapists to tailor programs that maximize each child's potential. Our Philosophy

The Allen School is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of children with special needs in a loving atmosphere. Our program is based on the simple belief that children with handicaps are children first and their potential is ours to discover. We help each child to reach their potential by providing opportunities and activities that are tailored for individual skill levels. We believe this is best accomplished when therapies are incorporated into daily activities. At The Allen School, we give a child the chance to say, "Yes, I can!"

We are just $120 away from our Sales goal of $1000! Money raised will help to purchases books for our students to take home at Christmas. This really is a win/win deal for the buyer and the school! Please support our "Slice the Price Fundraiser" with Dominos! One $20 card will let you purchase unlimited Buy one large, get one large pizza free until June 30, 2027! You can even use the card to purchase pizzas for events at church, school, or work!
The fundraiser will help to fund the books purchased at Christmas for the children's gifts.

The Mount St. Mary's Mu Alpha Theta Club deserves appreciation for assisting in the packaging of new books for the children's gifts from Santa. Additionally, they donated new math-focused books to support the cause. Led by Mrs. Oceana McMahon, Mu Alpha Theta is a mathematics club that promotes academic excellence. Literacy Opportunities, launched by The Allen School Executive Director, Sherrie Ivy five years ago, aims to promote literacy for the children attending the school. This year's donation was also funded by the Taylor Endowment, supporting the school's children and their classrooms.
