MSM is honored to be named the Best Private School in the the Arkansas Times Best of 2026 readers' poll! ✨

This recognition marks a special milestone for our school, as it means Mount St. Mary Academy has been recognized in all four major Arkansas readers' choice polls this year, including Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Best of the Best, AY Magazine Best of Arkansas, Soirée Recommends, and now Arkansas Times Best of 2026.

While we are incredibly grateful for these honors, what matters most is what they represent: a community committed to forming young women of faith, purpose, leadership, and service. Every day, our faculty, staff, alumnae, families, and friends invest in creating an experience that empowers our students to discover their gifts, grow in confidence, and become the women God calls them to be.

We celebrated academic excellence during this year’s Underclass Awards Ceremony, where 25 scholarships totaling more than $70,000 were awarded to deserving students and dozens of additional honors recognized achievements across academics, leadership, service, clubs, organizations, and the arts.

We also celebrated two outstanding faculty and staff members: Capt. Scott Pursley, recipient of the Bailey Family Distinguished Teaching Award, and Jamie Groat, who received the inaugural Staff Award for Mercy Excellence.

Congratulations to all of our students on their hard work and accomplishments, especially this year’s scholarship recipients. We are incredibly grateful to the generous donors whose support continues to create opportunities for our Belles and invest in their futures.
