What an AMAZING evening celebrating Hispanic Heritage!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make last night’s celebration such a memorable experience! We had an incredible time sampling delicious foods, exploring amazing student projects, and enjoying outstanding performances that showcased the rich cultures, traditions, and talents represented in our Skyhawk family. 🎶💃🏽

We are so proud of our students for the time, creativity, and effort they put into making the evening special. A special thank you to our teachers, staff, families, volunteers, and community members who supported this event and helped bring this celebration to life.

Last night was a beautiful reminder that our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and there is so much to celebrate within our Skyhawk community!

Have you noticed our bright entrances!? Troop 24 Eagle Scout candidate and former Skyhawk, Ezra Campbell conducted his Eagle Scout Project this weekend at our school. Ezra led 52 volunteers in completing a combined 455 service hours. His work is not completely finished--he's got some touch ups to do and some details to add, but the work so far has given our front entries a burst of color and joy! We're grateful to all the volunteers and donors, as this project was absolutely a community effort.

A special thank you is due to Daniel and Sherwin Williams on Hwy 10 for donating all the paint and supplies. Daniel began working with Ezra early in the summer to advise him on types of paint, measuring areas, calculating supplies and materials, and advising on painting techniques and processes. Daniel is also an Eagle Scout and generously offered to financially support this huge project. Ezra is incredibly grateful for Daniel's generosity of time and donations.

Several businesses also donated to feed volunteers throughout the weekend. A special thank you to Whole Hog North Little Rock and Waldo's Chicken Breckenridge, as the owner and managers of these businesses are also made up of Scouters and Eagles that were eager to donate meals to support this project. We also received food and beverage donations from Kroger Hwy 10, Chick-Fil-A Chenal, Starbucks Kirk Rd, Krispy Kreme Conway, and Dunkin Donuts Rodney Parham. The generosity of these individuals and businesses totalled over $5000 in materials, supplies, food, and beverage. Ezra is incredibly grateful for this support, and Pinnacle View Middle School is, too! Thank you! Stay tuned for the final results in a few weeks!

Way to go Terry!!!!! 👏👏🎉🎉

We are SO excited to announce that Terry Elementary has officially moved from a D to a B school!
Our Tigers worked. Our teachers worked. Our families partnered with us. And TOGETHER, WE GREW!
To every person who believed in our students, encouraged them, showed up, put in the extra time, and continued to hold high expectations, THANK YOU!
We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re not finished yet! A B is worth celebrating, and it is also proof of what is possible when we work together.
