Y’all did so good!!! We provided 50 boxed lunches, 25 with 8 count nugget meals and 25 with a chicken sandwich meal. We also had enough to provide 2 gallons of sweet tea, gallon of unsweetened tea, and a gallon of lemonade! Y’all rock! Thank you for helping out. Let’s brainstorm for Christmas ideas!! -Michelle

Hey y’all! CDC parent Michelle McWhorter Cherry has a plan to show some support for our teachers!

She has been a CDC momma for over 5 years now. Her idea is catering Chick Fil A for the teachers next Tuesday as a thank you and Thanksgiving treat.

She has messaged a few momma friends and thought to reach out to y’all too to see if y’all want to contribute!

“I’m having my kiddos draw pictures as a thank you. I’m going to turn them in and ask they put them in the lounge with the Chick Fil A for a little extra happy. You could put them in an envelope and ask they put them in my sons backpack. His name is Ellis and he is in Mrs. Pat’s class. I’ve let Marisa know what I’m doing so you could also leave them for her and she’ll stick them in his backpack. I need them no later than Monday! My Venmo is Michelle-Cherry-8. It will cost around $450 to feed everyone at the center. They will be individually boxed meals to keep us covid friendly/safe. I’m going to write a thank you card as well and include all the families names who donated. Thank you! 💙💙💙”

Parents of the cdc, please keep Chandler Paige Sullivan in your thoughts and prayers. Abbie, her daughter, was in a terrible accident yesterday with her father. She is in the icu at children’s in Dallas and the diagnosis is very grim. Hopefully for a miracle and praying for peace. Chandler, our hearts are broken with you. ❤️❤️❤️
