Let's look at WHY you're being blasted today about it being National Voter Registration Day.

Arkansas ranked dead last in 2020 in the number of adults who turned out to vote in the United States. How do we know that?

On paper, Arkansas looked like it had a decent turnout in 2020 with 67% of registered voters showing up.

But we have over 2.3 million adults living here. In a state of 3 million people, only 53% of our adults voted.

How can we change that?

- Talk to your friends about registering to vote
- Check with your older family members if they need a ride on Election Day or help requesting an absentee ballot
- Volunteer at a voter registration event
- Check your own voter registration to make sure everything is up to date!

The EFNEP State Meeting was great. We learned a lot for the new program year. We can't wait to use the knowledge that was gained from the training in our nutrition classes.
