Thursday was a busy day for us at FCM! Our PTA scheduled an AMAZING Donuts with Dads, AND we celebrated Grandparents Day with some pretty cool grandparents.

Thanks to all of you who came out or put your time in to make yesterday successful. The kids enjoyed it; their smiles tell it all!

You know where there's math, science, and literacy in real life?

In cooking. In fire safety. In gardening.

Those are just a few activities our Micro Summer School kiddos have engaged in over the past two weeks, putting their core academic skills to use.

We are two weeks in and have only a few weeks left. This session is flying by with cosmic speed, and we're having a blast on the ride! Learning SHOULD BE FUN, and at the very least, the not-so-fun parts should be preparation for something engaging.
