Welcome to the UAMS Student Success Center! we have help available for you. The Student Success Center is unique in that we partner with you to be successful.
We are located on the 3rd floor of the UAMS Library & are dedicated to helping you find & achieve your definition of success. If you are experiencing difficulty with study habits, time management, getting email on your phone, writing a paper, etc. We do not have any say in your grades, in whether or not you graduate, or any other academic standing. ESSC and the Office of Educational Development co-sponsored the recent Teach the Teacher poster sessions. Twenty-four amazing posters were accepted. Our own Dr.Vuk presented a poster on “Covid-19’s Effects on Medical Student’s Performance on USMLE Step1.” Congratulations to all for a job well done!

We celebrated one year of faculty development with a celebration and open house! We recognized participating faculty with certificates of achievement. Faculty were also invited to visit our department and enjoy de-stressing activities including yoga, a relaxation room, and a therapy dog.
