STEAM for the Next Generation is an innovative program for 8th-12th grade homeschoolers in Arkansas. Our in-person meetings occur on Tuesdays in Maumelle.

STEAM for the Next Generation is a program for homeschoolers that are in 8th grade and up. We strive to teach students the WHY in all that they are learning with us. This is accomplished through collaborative and project-based learning that is unlike anything else you will find in the area. We love to expose our students to STEAM related fields by offering unique field trip opportunities and hosti

Every great project begins with an idea.

At STEAM for the Next Generation, students don’t just learn about concepts—they explore them through discussions, hands-on experiences, collaborative projects, investigations, presentations, and real-world challenges.

Some of the most meaningful learning happens when students are asking questions, sharing ideas, solving problems, and discovering what they’re capable of.

These photos capture just a few of the experiences that help students grow in confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.

Because learning should feel engaging, meaningful, and inspiring.

Limited spots remain for the 2026–2027 school year. Registration information is in the comments.

What if Physics felt less like memorizing formulas… and more like figuring things out? ⚡

At STEAM, Physics students investigate motion, launch catapults, solve engineering-style challenges, test ideas, and explore how physics actually explains the world around them.

The course is hands-on, inquiry-driven, and designed to push students to think critically, collaborate, problem solve, and apply what they’re learning in meaningful ways.

This is not a sit-and-copy-notes kind of class.

Only 2 spots remain for next year’s Physics class. Registration information can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Wy2YgQYj2tAh-c8Ns_p5qcxEMeTh45f/view?usp=drivesdk

Chemistry at STEAM gets a little creative sometimes. 🧪😂

Our students recently wrapped up Mole Day projects, and honestly… the names alone deserved extra credit.
