We are looking for five FMIG members to help us design and develop a marketing campaign to promote clinical rotation and residency program opportunities. The campaign will include video production, website content, and social media outreach. A $100 stipend will be provided to participating students.

The final stop of our 2024 Rural Student Field Trip took us to Fordyce.
After a tour of the Dallas County Medical Center, we had a whole lot of food, fellowship, and fun at the Fordyce Country Club.
We had great weather for rides around the beautiful golf course and even got to practice our putting!
The hospital motto is “The people you know, taking care of the people you love.” This was evident in every community member we had the pleasure of meeting.

For the second leg of our 2024 Rural Student Field Trip, we visited Crossett.
We were greeted with refreshments by the friendly folks at Ashley County Medical Center before setting out on a tour of the hospital.
Dr. Brad Walsh graciously opened his home for a delicious meal, and we had a fantastic time visiting with community leaders and the inaugural class of family medicine residents.
