When it’s time to impress, our culinary team delivers. Last week we hosted special guests for a kitchen tour and served up these beautiful appetizers. Delicious, creative, and almost too pretty to eat.

It never hurts to have a professional chef on the team!

A sharp knife isn’t just better, it’s SAFER.

Most people think a dull knife is safer than a sharp one, but the opposite is true.

A sharp knife:
✅ Requires less force to cut
✅ Gives you more control and precision
✅ Reduces the chance of slipping while cutting
✅ Creates cleaner cuts on veggies, fruits, and meats
✅ Makes cooking faster and more enjoyable

Over time, every knife edge wears down with normal use. Regular sharpening restores the edge, helping your knife perform the way it was designed to.

Think of it like changing the oil in your car. Routine maintenance keeps everything working at its best. A few minutes of sharpening can add years of performance to your favorite kitchen knife.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Did you know the foods we eat can play a role in how we feel mentally and emotionally? Through culinary medicine, we explore the connection between nutrition and mental wellness — because food is more than fuel.

Balanced meals filled with colorful produce, whole grains, healthy fats, and nourishing ingredients may help support mood, focus, energy, and overall well-being.

In the teaching kitchen, we’re learning that cooking is a form of self-care, stress relief, and connection. Sharing meals, trying new foods, and eating mindfully are all small ways we can care for both our bodies and our minds.

This mental health awareness month, let’s remember that taking care of ourselves can start right in the kitchen.
