Applications are now open for the 2026 AR Health Ventures Accelerator (ARHVA)!

ARHVA helps UAMS innovators move promising therapeutics and health-related technologies closer to commercialization through hands-on development support and up to $50,000 in ARHVA-managed project funding.

All UAMS employees, including trainees and postdoctoral fellows, are eligible to apply.

Applications for the next CADET cohort close August 7.

CADET is a year-long program for UAMS - University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences graduate students and postdoctoral fellows engaged in cancer research or related fields who are interested in translational science and want to better understand how research discoveries move toward real-world impact.

Through weekly meetings, expert mentorship, team-based activities, and hands-on learning, participants will explore healthcare innovation, intellectual property, licensing, entrepreneurship, and technology commercialization.

CADET is designed for researchers who are ready to expand their perspective beyond the laboratory and build practical skills that can help advance cancer discoveries toward solutions that improve patient care.

Applicants must be able to commit to the full year-long program and participate in weekly sessions and collaborative activities.
