Congratulations to Carlee, she has done an awesome job leading the band this year!!

This week, we celebrate the incredible achievements of senior Carlee Capps, the recipient of the DEWS Chief Leadership Award! Carlee has consistently demonstrated excellence, particularly in mathematics, and her dedication to helping her peers is truly commendable. Last year, she crafted a comprehensive study guide for Medical Terminology Honors, aiding many classmates in their exam preparations.

Beyond academics, Carlee shines as the new Drum Major for the NMBHS Marching Band. After a transformative leadership camp this summer, she has brought back fresh ideas and has been instrumental in mentoring younger band members.

Carlee exemplifies what it means to be a Chief—smart, talented, responsible, and always ready to lend a hand. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Carlee! 🎉
