🐝📣 THE ACADEMY ISD PEP RALLY SCHEDULE IS HERE! 📣🐝

If you’re someone who LOVES a good theme and an excuse to dress up, HERE ARE ALL THE DAYS TO LOOK FORWARD TO! 🎉💚💛

We’ve got the entire district gearing up for a fun-filled pep rally season, and we want everyone to join in! 🎊

📅 IMPORTANT NOTE:
October 17 is NOT a pep rally. 👀
There is Mini Bee Cheer Camp and other exciting activities happening that day, but we’ll share more details about October 17 later! Stay tuned! 📣

Get ready to BUZZ with school spirit! 🐝🎉

We will be attending the AHS Pep Rallies listed below! Here’s what you need to know:

🚌 Bus Departure: AES will leave at 9:20 AM
🏫 Return to AES: Approximately 11:00 AM

🍎 2nd Grade: When we return to campus, 2nd Grade will go straight to lunch.

🏢 Front Office: While we are away, Ms. Ybarra will be running the front office.

👋 Students Arriving Between 9:00–11:00 AM: Students who arrive during this time will stay on campus with Ms. Ybarra until everyone returns.

👕Students are encouraged to wear their school spirit shirts or dress as the pep rally theme!

🐝 Let’s bring the HIVE spirit and get ready to CHEER! 💚💛

A huge thank you to Charlie Kimmey and his crew for treating our staff to an incredible lunch today! 🍔🌭
Burgers, hot dogs, sausages, and ALLLLLL the fixings! 😋 You all went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for the time, effort, and generosity you poured into making our lunch so delicious!

And a special thank you to Raising Canes for the tea donation! 🥤💛

What a sweet way to kick off our school year! We are feeling extra loved, appreciated, and VERY well-fed! 🐝✨

🐝💚💛 And just like that… we’re BUZZING through our first week of school! 💛💚🐝
What a SWEET first week it has been!
We’ve loved welcoming back our returning Bumblebees and meeting all of our new little bees!
There have been new friends, big smiles, lots of learning, a few butterflies, and SO many exciting moments! 📚✨
Here’s to a school year filled with learning, growing, friendship, and making memories!
We’re off to a BUZZING great start! 🐝🎉

The big day is almost here! We look forward to welcoming our students back tomorrow morning for the start of the 2026–2027 school year!

As everyone gets into the routine, please keep in mind that traffic around campuses is always significantly heavier during the first few days of school due to a higher number of car riders.

We kindly ask that all drivers build in extra time, practice patience, and drive safely in school zones (and construction areas) to keep our students and community safe.

Children may arrive as early as 7:15 and parents may walk them to class tomorrow (only).

School Start & End Times:
7:40 AM – 3:50 PM

🐝 Meet the Bees is Monday, August 3, from 3:00–5:00 PM! 💚💛

We can’t wait to welcome our new and returning Bumblebees! Come meet your teacher, drop off your school supplies, and get excited for an amazing year ahead.

We’re looking forward to a year full of learning, growing, and making wonderful memories together. See you Monday! 🐝📚✨

Just in case you’re needing afterschool care and transportation options Ralph Wilson’s Youth Club offers both! Plus their low monthly fee also includes the Fridays we are off.

We still have our AISD buses and Bee Camp, just sharing this for those that might be interested!
