Thomas H. Stahl Honored on Blennerhassett Island, Mansion and Museum !

This past Friday, artist Thomas H. Stahl was recognized for his exceptional contribution to the cultural and artistic heritage of Blennerhassett Island, located on the Ohio River near Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Stahl’s original painting, Island Paradise, depicting Margaret and Harman Blennerhassett, has been transformed into a statue that now stands on the very site that inspired the artwork. This remarkable installation offers visitors a unique opportunity to connect with the island’s rich history through both visual art and sculpture.

As you step off the sternwheeler and onto Blennerhassett Island, be sure to stop and take a photo beside Thomas Stahl’s statue—an enduring tribute to his artistic vision and the island’s storied past.

Hi everyone! We hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday. We’ve been busy these past few weeks and wanted to share another sneak peek of what we’ve been working on!

More rocks have been placed around Tom’s Rock & Gem Shop, and we’ve added brand new displays for our gems and geodes — including a special geode wagon featuring antique wagon wheels from our own family collection!

Over the next few weeks, you’ll also see wind chimes, gems, jewelry, and so much more making their way in. We can’t wait to share it all with you soon 🤩

Happy Easter from the Stahl Family!

As we head into Easter weekend in a few days, we wanted to share Thomas Stahl’s latest piece. The prints for this Easter painting are not yet available.

Although the Gallery isn’t open currently for visitors our other prints that are available for purchase can be ordered for pickup!

We wish everyone the best during this challenging time, stay safe and healthy and we can’t wait to see you all soon!

Hi friends! We’re staying busy at Stahl’s as we put the finishing touches on our new Rock Shop. We anticipate opening to the public by the end of April. I’ve included some photos of our progress and will keep everyone updated on our official opening day. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Hi friends, it has been awhile since we have posted and we wanted to provide important updates at Stahl's. We have made changes in our business that we are excited to share. The garden center is now permanently closed, however, we still have in operation the Christmas shop, art gallery, and the veterans gallery museum.

We are also excited to announce that we will be opening Tom’s Rock and Gem Shop late march - mid April! Our rock shop will offer a few cases of rare rocks from all over the world and we will also have rocks for sale - including healing crystals and other unique items. We will be share more details on the new rock shop shortly, so please be sure to follow us for more details!

Our hours remain Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday from 1 pm - 4 pm.
