Today was a great day for our Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts/ Griffiss STEAM Camp with a change of scenery! Today the camp was held in the beautiful MVCA space at The Stone Mill-Little Falls NY!

We read one of my favorite books today! If you haven’t read After The Fall by Dan Santat,look it up! 🥚The kiddos had to protect their Humpty Dumpty Egg from falling off the wall(s) or protect it if it did fall! It was 3 hours of pure imagination, determination, exploration and of course fun!

We are so lucky to have the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts and Griffiss Institute in our community!! Be sure to check out all they have to offer!

My friend Chase!

Congratulations to Kayden!
He just passed the test to receive his ham radio technician class license! And thanks to a grant from ARDC (brought to us by our partners at NRAO) Kayden gets to enjoy a nice stipend PLUS he gets his own radio!
This is a pretty unique achievement for a teenager, one that allowed Kayden to apply and grow his knowledge of electronics and engineering. We're so proud that he set this goal for himself and put in the work to achieve it. And who knows what comes next? A general license? Building a radio? Chatting with astronauts?

I stopped into The Stone Mill-Little Falls NY to check out the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts/Griffiss Institute Minecraft Coding Camp! Look at how much fun these Benton Hall Academy kiddos are having!! We are so lucky for this partnership right here in Little Falls!!
