Good morning Lobo FamiLE;
We want to address a social media post circulating about a potential threat to our Walker and Strike campuses. After an investigation by the police last night, it has been determined that the post is not credible and is coming from an account that is not real.
We ask that you remain aware of this information if you come across the post and avoid spreading it further on social media.
Please rest assured that we are maintaining robust security measures, including weapons detection towers at student entrances, additional weapon detection systems on campus, and armed School Resource Officers. Local law enforcement is actively monitoring the situation and working closely with us to ensure the safety of our community.
Your children and our staff's safety and security are our top priorities. We will continue to stay vigilant and keep you updated as needed.

Our Story
The Little Elm Independent School District encompasses 40 square miles in the southeast corner of Denton County on the north end of Lake Lewisville. Our district is one of the fastest growing districts in the state of Texas. We serve students who reside in the communities of Little Elm, Frisco, Hackberry, Lakewood Village, The Colony and Oak Point.
Geographically, we have twenty-three miles of shoreline on Lewisville Lake, so our community is fortunate to have plenty of scenic lakefront property. The community maintains a "small town" feeling, yet because of our close proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, our teachers and students have access to the same resources as many large communities.
If current growth patterns persist, our district will remain a 'one high school town' for many years to come. In athletic and academic competition, our students compete in a very competitive 5A classification in the University Interscholastic League.
