What a wonderful and enchanting experience it was for our kindergarten and PreK children! They had the incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant essence of autumn by participating in both apple and pumpkin picking activities. This hands-on experience allowed the young ones to connect with nature and learn about the changing seasons in a fun and engaging way. We are immensely grateful to the Little Compton Educational Foundation (LCEF) and Old Stone Orchard for their generous support and collaboration in making this memorable event possible. Their dedication to providing enriching educational experiences for our students is truly appreciated. The children not only enjoyed the tactile experience of picking fruits, but they also learned about the growth cycle of apples and pumpkins, which are quintessential symbols of the fall harvest. This outing was a perfect blend of education and enjoyment, fostering a love for learning and the great outdoors in our young learners.

Empowering Students Through Education & Resilience!

LCEF is proud to have partnered with the Tiverton & Little Compton Prevention Coalition to bring a robust assembly to the Wilbur & McMahon Schools! 🏀✨ We were honored to co-sponsor Jack “Black Jack” Ryan, a former Harlem Wizards player and TED Talk speaker! 🏀✨ who shared an inspiring message about the power of education, perseverance, and resilience.

A huge thank you to our partners and everyone who made this event possible. Together, we’re shaping a brighter future for our students! 💙📚💪

We are immensely grateful to the The Tiverton & Little Compton Prevention Coalition and LCEF for hosting an incredible assembly at our school featuring Brooklyn's own Jack "Black Jack" Ryan, who once played with the Harlem Wizards basketball team. His engaging TED Talk highlighted the value of education and the importance of resilience. It was a wonderful way to promote both educational and physical well-being, as well as the spirit of determination.
