Excited energy filled the halls and classrooms last night as staff welcomed students and their families at our Open House. Just look at these big smiles! 😁

The Home and School Association helped set the tone with a "blast off into the new year theme" and welcoming current and new students with cookies and welcome gifts. 🚀

St. John Nepomucene School is looking for a Before & After School Care Supervisor to help provide a safe, welcoming and fun environment for our students before and after school! Do you know of anyone who may be a great fit? 🙏

Hours:
Morning: 6:30–8:00 AM
Afternoon: 2:45–5:30 PM

We are willing to hire one person for both shifts or separate morning and afternoon supervisors. If you enjoy working with children and would love to be part of the St. John Nepomucene School family, we’d love to hear from you!

St. John School is excited to announce Bill Van Nuland as our newest 4th Grade Teacher. 🎉

"I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade at St. John's for my 25th year as an upper elementary/middle school teacher. I am also excited to experience being a part of a PreK through 8th grade school attached to a vibrant parish like St. John Nepomucene Catholic Community. In addition to offering a rigorous academic curriculum, I am planning on forming the students as intentional disciples of Christ by focusing my instruction to the different aspects of human nature such as Piety(Heart), Study (Mind), and Action (Will) as these three pillars of our Catholic faith will turn beliefs into daily practice. The style of leadership that will be modeled to students is that of Servant Leadership, which is defined as a leader who creates leaders along the way. "

"My name is Brenna Olson, and I am so excited to be rejoining the St. John Nepomucene Catholic School family! As a former student of SJS, I know how wonderfully connected in faith and community this school is. I am blessed to be joining the staff at SJS and look forward to spending my 5th year of teaching with our 4K learners. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me out in the community, “Up North” or wherever my family is! I can’t wait to meet you all this upcoming 2026-2027 school year!"
