Warwick Education Foundation seeks to engage, enrich, and empower all children in the Warwick School

Something new is humming at Warwick Middle School! 🖨️

Technology Education teachers Kevin Krause and Jeffrey Oberholtzer applied for a Warwick Education Foundation grant to bring three new 3D printers to their students. Now kids are turning a sketch on a screen into something they can hold in their hands. Faster, full-color printing means more students get a turn at the machines.

Thank you to these two educators for dreaming this up, and to the donors and sponsors who helped make it happen! ❤️

New school year, new stories from Warwick classrooms. 🎶

Our latest blog post looks at over a decade of music grants across the district, from ukuleles in every elementary school to adaptive recorders that became the instrument every third grader wanted to play. Most recently, the Ed Foundation funded 30 new guitars for a brand new 7th grade music class!

Music is officially in session at Warwick Middle School! 🎸

For the first time ever, students can learn how to play the guitar right at school. A brand new class with 30 brand new guitars are now in the hands of 7th graders. With opportunities to practice both at school and at home, students are building musical skills, confidence, creativity, and independence one chord at a time.

A huge thank you to every donor and sponsor who is helping make this happen for Warwick students! ❤️

Every Warwick Education Foundation grant starts the same way. ❤️

It starts with a dedicated teacher who saw a need, had an idea, and asked the Ed Foundation for help supporting it.

Thank you to every donor for turning a teacher's idea into a classroom reality for Warwick students.

The classroom just got a whole lot bigger at Warwick High School! 🦅

Students are heading outdoors with their own pair of binoculars to identify Pennsylvania birds and observe wildlife firsthand, building environmental awareness and a deeper connection to the natural world.

Now, no one will miss a moment.

A huge thank you to every donor and sponsor who makes grants like this possible for Warwick students! ❤️

This is why we invest in Warwick schools. ❤️

So students like these have access to an enriched education that will build their skills and prepare them for the future.

Since 1997, Warwick Education Foundation has given over $4.4 million in extra tools and extra enrichment to ignite a passion for learning in Warwick students. With your help, there’s so much more we can do to make a difference in their lives.

Help us give Chris Swartz a big shout-out! 👏

For ten years, Chris has served on the grant review committee, and he still gets excited reading applications. One that stuck with him: a robotics grant that helped an elementary student find his footing, then became the subject of that same student's gifted project presentation.

Grants have shaped his own family too. He remembers reading The Lemonade War with his daughters during the One Book, One School program. He brought the book into his own classroom at Milton Hershey School, where he teaches in the elementary school. The book is now part of the third-grade curriculum.

"It's fun to be part of an organization that can take that financial barrier away and let teachers be creative," Chris said.

Thank you, Chris, for your years of thoughtful volunteering! ❤️
