We would like to inform you that we will not be having the West-Durant School Reunion Banquet in May 2024, however, we will be doing a donation for the William Sullivan Middle School to help support the Alethic department ect....We will keep you posted once the donation board is available. If anyone would like to have the banquet we will be happy to turn everything over to you. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out the Atlanta Chapter.

The Atlanta Chapter would like to wish you a Happy New Year. We pray that you were able to spend time with your loved ones. There have been some concerns about having the reunion in May due to Covid and Omicron on the rise.
At this point, we feel that everyone’s health is a major concern. Please accept our apology but again we will have to cancel the reunion. We look forward to getting together once this calamity is over.

Greetings Classmates & Family,
Due to scheduling conflict with Venue, the event date has changed. Our new date is Sunday, May 29th 2022. Please adjust your Calendar’s accordingly. Hopefully, this is not an inconvenience for You and your family because we are looking forward to seeing all of you in 2022.

Hello Classmates and Family,

I hope that each of you are doing well and looking forward to 2022. Covid -19 has caused us as a country to change our lifestyles, and on that note, we have decided to get creative and take the reunion to Mississippi!

This event is slated to take place May 28th for one day only depending on your quick response. It will be held at the Rafael Estate in Raymond, MS. Please visit him on Facebook, Rafael Estate, and take a tour of his spectacular Estate.

The event will be held outdoors at 7:00 p.m. due to Covid -19. (Pray no rain; however, we’ve got that covered). This will be “West-Durant School Reunion, A Night Under the Stars!” With increasing venue costs and inflation our price will fall between $100-125. Once we have obtained the final number of participants, we will provide the exact cost per person.

We have currently set our total guest capacity for 125 guests unless we have greater demand. At which time, we will increase the capacity to accommodate. If you plan to attend please respond AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to [email protected] no later than December 20th because time is of the essence. More exciting information to follow.

All fees are due February 15th, or before. Fees after that are subject to increase slightly.

It is with deep regret that the 2022 Reunion in Atlanta has been cancelled. The cancellation is due to the global pandemic and the amount of concerns with traveling and the numbers. The committee is looking into some other options for the same weekend for May of 2022, Memorial Weekend. The details will be forthcoming. All refunds for Atlanta will be mailed in the coming weeks. Please be mindful the refund will arrive in an official envelope from the bank. Please pass this message along to your friends and family. We will also put a post on our page.

Our hopes and prayers are that you and your families are safe and doing well in this crisis. We really appreciate your patience while we worked out the details here in Atlanta. As a result of COVID-19 the reunion has been moved to a new date, May 28th-31st, 2021. We do realize that this is an off year but under the circumstances we want to make sure everyone is safe. All registrations will be moved to the new date. All prices will remain the same.
