WHAT WE PROVIDE
1. One-on-one virtual coaching sessions form a certified and professional coach
Get individualized guidance you need to talk over your college and career plans. All our coaches have advanced degrees and years of experience in counseling.
2. A 30-minute online strengths, interests and aptitudes assessment designed to identify your “sweet spot” – where your passion, personality and skills intersect
We offer a unique assessment tool that measures and provides insights to your skills and strengths. By answering a series of multiple choice questions, we get a better understanding of where you will find educational and career success.
3. A list of up to 20 viable career options with respect to educational requirements, industry trends and personal interests
Based on your assessment results, we align you with up to 20 careers that meet your interests, skills and abilities. Your report provides information about each job, including educational requirements, appropriate majors and industry information. Based on the career, you may need a two-year, four-year, or advanced degree. Additionally, find careers that are considered “Bright Outlooks”, meaning they are projected to have numerous openings, are new and emerging, or will experience rapid growth in the near future. Your coach will discuss the best options for you and your family.
4. A comparable list of four schools
Based on your personal parameters and coach insights, you will receive a list of four best-fit schools for you. This includes information on tuition, financial aid, graduation rates, sports teams, accreditation and more! Some schools even include virtual tours of their campuses so you can “walk” the grounds of campus right from your computer or mobile device!
5. Information about YOU Interests – what do you find interesting? Are you artistic, investigative? It is important that you find a career that keeps your interest
Personality – how do you tend to act and react in situations? Do you have a high stress tolerance? Are you more of an introvert? It’s important to understand yourself and how your natural tendencies will mesh with future careers. Abilities – what are you capable of doing? The survey asks a series of cognitive questions to make sure you’re aligned to a career that meets your natural talents. Not only does this information give you a better understanding of how you’re wired, it will be very useful when writing personal statements, college applications, resumes, and in interviews.
