The staff at Sweetwater Elementary kicked off the school year with an engaging preplanning week centered on team building, professional learning, and strategic planning. By analyzing recent student data, the team carefully aligned their School Improvement Plan to target key areas of growth. Teachers also sharpened their instructional practices, learning how to incorporate high-leverage strategies like Claim-Evidence-Reasoning (CER) to drive intentional, rigorous learning across all classrooms. 🎬🏰✨️

Our halls were filled with smiling faces, laughter, and the excitement of new beginnings as we kicked off an amazing school year. 📽️🎬 Lights, Camera, Action!

Our Kindergarten Knights kicked off the year with their first class meeting with Principal Springer! Together, we talked about what it means to be part of our school’s success story and how every Knight has an important role to play.

From showing kindness and respect to working hard, making good choices, and never giving up, our youngest students are already learning that every action helps write the next chapter of Sweetwater’s story.

And to our Kindergarten families… you made it! 🎉 Whether there were happy tears, nervous butterflies, or a few extra hugs this morning, your little Knight is doing great, settling in, and already becoming part of something special. Thank you for trusting us—we can’t wait to make this an amazing year together! ❤️💛🏰
