Fooling around with alternate tunings and one of the strangest Beatles songs. This one is odd, but it is a droning masterpiece and a lot of fun to play. I like coming up with my own arrangements of songs like this. I also love teaching Beatles songs because you can pretty much go through one song after another and each one always offers something to learn.

Having some fun with my Fuzz Factory. This thing is just full of glorious chaos. It can be a difficult pedal to time, but I think that's the fun of it. Sometimes I even enjoy seeing the k***s randomly and just accepting whatever it wants to give me.

15 years ago, when I added banjo lessons to my bag of tricks, I never expected to teach as much banjo as I have. Come see how much fun the banjo can be, even for a total beginner. I teach bluegrass style as well as clawhammer. This piece is one that I'm working on with one of my clawhammer students: Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss.

A student asked me to share where they could hear me playing, and I decided to share this here. The easiest and most frequent place to hear me play is Northwest Hills Community Church in Torrington, where I play electric guitar or bass several Sundays each month. The service is streamed on YouTube each week and there are probably a couple hundred videos on YouTube, like this one, which include me playing with the worship team. If anybody is interested, check out Northwest Hills Community Church's YouTube channel, and there are several years worth of streamed worship services. Or come down to Northwest Hills on Sunday mornings at 9:30.
